Old School iPod Connection....question

So my 02 X has the tape deck and does not have the integrated iPod hookup. I picked up an old school tape to audio converter at Freds for $6.00.

Popped in the tape and shut the navigation panel, hooked up my ipod and instant ipod music that actually sounded as good as my cd's.

Question, if I could route the cable through the back of the navigation/stereo panel then I coulr route the cord to my center console or glove box and no one would ever know it was not an ipod connection. Anyone have a page showing how the thing is all put together.

Any idea where I could drill a small hole in the back panel of the stereo that is not in the way of an electronic component that would get messed up.

It seriously sounded great and I tried 4 or 5 different songs.

Thanks,

Shawn
