ICElink track title display??

Hello All,

I recently installed a dension ICElink plus in my 2002 x5 4.4 w/Navi 16:9.
Everything works perfectly, sound quality is also good, but there is one small problem.

I have seen some BMW's with the Ipod track titles displayed on the Navi screen as well as the mid. matrix display below the speedo.
Both options do not seem to work in my X5, I only see CD1 track 01, etc.

How can I get the track titles??

P.S. I have the BM24 17pin radio module.

You have to turn it on in the Icelink Menu.

If your unit is too old, it needs a FW upgrade. Post the FW version that appears in the upper L corner of the iPod screen when socketed to the Icelink.

Here are the procedures of activating ID3 text, providing you have firmware v2B1 or higher on your ice>Link Plus:

========================================
ID3 Text Activation Procedures
========================================

1) Select CD #6 on the Radio/NAV screen
2) Scroll to "Setup" and select setup menu
3) Scroll to "Text Selector" and follow the instructions on your radio/navigation screen
4) Text is now activated!

Here are the procedures for determining your firmware version on your ice>Link Plus:

Turn the key to the on position and select your CD Changer. Once you are in this mode, plug in the iPod to the Active Cradle or Docking cable. During the warning screen, the firmware version can be spotted by looking at the number in the top right corner of the iPod.
