Question 2002 w/ Nav wants CD changer and sirius

Ok - here goes. I have a new-to-me 2002 X5 with navigation and no CD. I had an Alpine changer from a 1998 528i but it was too big to fit this car. (will sell if any interest). I bought a BMW changer on Ebay but I don't think it will play MP3 like the Alpine would have. Does anyone have any experience with this install?

I also have a XAct "Replay" Sirius Satellite Plug & Play Radio Receiver and Vehicle Kit and need to get this up and running. Any tips on how to mount this without drilling and how to run the wire for the antenna?? Has anyone put it in their ashtray?

Thanks for any help you can give
