Raspberry Pi/X5BMC
When I got my X5 it had a DVD player in the boot, that was able to feed the front dashboard screen and/or 2 headrest screens with wireless headphones. The problem was that whoever wired it up, gave it a constant feed and was draining the battery every few days, that and the fact that if the kids wanted a differnet film, you had to stop, go to the boot and swap disc's. A real pain in the arse. So I simply unplughed the player and never uesed it, making the headrest screens worthless.
Anyway, had been toying with the idea of getting a raspberry pi running xbmc setup in the car. Anyway, finally had a dry day, and here are the results... although its still work in progress.
