Question> can you use a diff amp to power up speakers?

Hey guys i got a 2001 4.4 NO Nav but YES DSP.
I took out the DSP subs cause didnt like em...
now i wanna get rid of the DSP amp too.
Question is with the FACTORY headunit, can i take out the factory amp and put in a 4 channel aftermarket one to power it instead?
will it work?
any issues?

Or come down to Portland and we will happily do it for you. Great sound and OEM HU retention.

just read up your write up about the removing DSP.
pls answer these questions...
I dont have tuner, or changer..just DSP and stock H.U
1. If i unplug both...and plug in H/U, then ampwill the dsp be ghosted?... and if so will i still hear sound just no DSP?

2. I only wish you were closer or id get this done asap from you! Would another shop know what they are doing or can you really answer that?
Thanks!
