E53 gets Alpine 8" nav

Haven't been around in ages, but I thought you guys would like to see this - the Alpine 8" navigation system in an E53, with a very special bezel. The client didn't want any of the stock bezels, so my partner Tom Miller made one that incorporated the wood-trim door that had been over his cassette deck:

Integrated it into the HiFi 676 audio system, high-passed the signal into it, added an amp and sub, and adjusted the time correction, parametric EQ, levels, and such with our audio analyzer and then tuned by ear. Nice upgrade to a well-cared-for E53!
