2010 x5 M No BT Audio, No Apps
Hey guys! Just bought a 2010 X5 M, Alpine White, and very awesome! I sold my e46 M3 and e53 X5 and merged the two interests into this one incredible vehicle. Manufactured 11/2009 I'm not up on iDrive/BT tech on this vehicle and it wasn't part of the purchase decision. With that said, I'm finding out that my version (11/2009) doesn't have certain amenities such as BT audio or the apps like weather of later models. Question: is it possible to update in software to get these features? Is it possible to upgrade at all? Is there a secret menu with a 'press this button and all your wildest dreams will come true ' option!? Help! Thanks. |

A2DP just does audio out - in which case the aux-in in the center console box works fine. Installed it today (i.e. take it out the the box and put it in the car.). Works great. And best of all the phone still works as a phone with the BMW bluetooth.
