Volume stored settings

Hi all, Not sure i have posted in the correct section but I'am having issues with the volume settings that are stored when the car is turned off, it is a L322 Range Rover that shares the same electronics as the X5, I first started to get problems with an intermittent noise on the radio, at first I was lead to believe this could be a problem with the amps in the radio module so I had them replaced, this did not cure the problem, I then started to have a problem with the factor fitted telephone I noticed that when you pressed the steering wheel button there was no voice commands and if i called out they could hear me but i could not hear them so I replaced the Voice Input Communication Module next and this has cured the issues.

When the BM54 was repaired the firmware was also upgraded.

After the car has been locked on re start the volume is at minimum and has to be turned up manually, this also affects the telephone volume and sat nav, might this be down to the firmware or some other problem.

Any suggestion would be much appreciated as I'am now at a loss as to what to try next.
