NAV symbols
I have looked around and cannot find a manual on the sat nav that shows what all the symbols are. For example mine every so often shows 3 blue concentric rings (middle one just a dot). Silly really but driving me mad. I carefully scan the road when I pass the 3 ring area but have found nothing consistent. Driving my passengers mad as well! ALso I have come across a greyed triangle (like road sign) with what looks like car and petrol signs in it. If someone could point me at a symbol list I would be grateful. By the way it is a late 05 X5. Thanks for the help John |

I have the same 3 rings, and your right, nothing there most of the time.
Anyone have an Idea? Mark. |

It is supposed to be the nearest 'centre of habitation' for a local village, district, suburb etc.
Grey bordered symbols are those not on your route. If they are on route they get a red border - or so mine seems to show. Wait til you see the wide load one!! That's pretty odd.
