Thanks for the info. To add to that, the CD version of 2005-2 is now shipping as well.

About once a year Navteq releases an updated DVD that contains the latest road maps and travel information. Updated with new restraunts, hotels, gas stations, new roads and highways, and any corrections that were identified from the last release.

I haven't gotten around to ordering the new one either! As far as the software upgrade, I get the same full screen mode on my radio display like you did. Wondering if I shoulod upgrade. If that's all it is though, it doesn't really bother me. Any other recommended reason to upgrade??

I need to ask the dealer, but when I picked up my new X5 last month, it came with 2004-2. They should at least be shipping with 2005-1 I would think, right? Time to talk with the dealer.
