Just got back from the dealers!!
My local BMW dealer fixed everything -
I lost the 'bmw assist' option on my menu screen after downgrading the NAV OS to V25 before upgrading to V26 with perspective and splash screen.
They basically had to recode the sat nav to my car - it was showing up as a 7 series bmw etc etc. Also, to get the 'bmw assist' back, they went into the 'telephone' screen and selected 'emergency (or SOS)'.
They havn't got V27 yet - the response was...."the UK are the last to get it....!"
So, the question now is - how do I get a custom splash screen without downgrading the nav OS first????
Is there anyway into forcing the install - even if it's recognised as the same version?
