Some questions about update(V26+Birdview+Bootsplash)

Hi
At first I want to say that the forum is the best I have ever seen!Very good Informations!
Now my questions:
1. I want to Update to V26+Birdview+Custom Boot Splash. I Downloaded the V26 from here(http://www.xoutpost.com/navigation-sy...released.html).
Then I downloaded the Navboot from here(http://www.xoutpost.com/navos2.html)
So I have to to put the Navboot into the V26 Image and then Burn It and Update it?Right?
2.I want to Update the Navboot file(http://www.xoutpost.com/navos2.html) with a Custom Bootsplash with the CarMES tool. When I want to put another Picture the programm writes "The Image File Size is too Big".In the Readme there is written "If the new gif image is larger than 4544KB then you'll need to check the box "Do not check file size". I have a little bit fear to do this, because I think the Picture wouldn`t fit the free Space of the MKIV.Does someone did it without Problems ?

Sorry for my bad English, but I am 16 years Old and I come frome Germany...

MRNY
