OS upgrade has wiped out half my menu!

Surely I can't be the only one to suffer this.

Downgraded from V26 to V25. Then upgraded to V26 with custom splash screen. Navigation is fine, but I no longer have - BMW assist, Code or Aux Ventilation on my menu screen. I'm losing items by the hour here!!

Can anyone help me please???

I had this. If you leave it on the main menu, they should reset - you will see them pop up after about 5 minutes 1 by 1 and then re-order themselves.

The only other way to trigger the process is to reflash again. I think a battery disconnect might trigger it too. I don't have BMW Assist though, that could be the difference.

Thanks. This re-order did take place. I can see the Code menu, but it's greyed out - can't select it. The Aux heating is back. But, BMW assist is still gone and the square block on the left of where it was is not there.

Any ideas b4 I go to the dealers??

Did you ever install T26.09A or just the main V26 release with mods?

Mines going into the dealers as the ETA has screwed up completely.

My ETA give the wrong estimate also - 1 hour to go 14 miles - WTF, I could run it in that time!!


No, I have never used V26.09 after all of the -ve feedback re bugs etc. When I originally went from V25 to V26 all was perfect and everything worked fine. It was the downgrade from V26 to V25 where it all went wrong. I had to do this to add the custom splash screen on the V26 version - but I had already lost half the menu items from the downgrade.

Going in to the dealers tomorrow. Lets hope that there is no history of what I've been doing.
