Small issue after Mk3 <> Mk4 swap

I've swapped my Mk3 from my E46 Tourer into our Mini, and put the Mini's MK4 into the E46.

In the Mini, we have now lost the temperature display in the bottom left - not a major problem, but when the temp. gets below 3 degrees you get a beep - but nothing on the display.

Is this a job for a BMW Service to reset the thing ? Also, in the hidden Service Menu (where you would change perspective on the MK4), the VIN number and car type are still set to the E46 (cant be changed by me). I did remove the Reg Number tho.

hi did the mini mk4 dvd computer work fine in the e46 as i am looking to do this conversion aswell
