Help deleting addresses

I bought a used 2001 X5 and no matter what I do I cannot delete the current addresses that have been saved. Unfortunatly, the vehicle did not come with a nav manual. Everytime I open the nav system I enter delete current address and as soon as I start the vehicle again the same info reapears. It is very annoying. Can someone help? Please!

It won't change until you enter a new address. Where in VA are you and what size Nav screen is in your x?

I live in Bristow and work in Centreville. It is the small screen vav system. I have entered new addresses and pushed save and it still reverts back to the old addresses.

Was that a Longhorn I saw on the back of the picture of your X5?

Yep, Texas Ex!

I'm guessing that you have an MkIII system which uses CDs for maps? Do you have the correct map CD in the drive? You should be using CD #6 I believe for this area- Mid Atlantic & New England.

If you end up needing the proper CD for this region let me know. I have an older version of it, but it'll work for you.
