Navigation BMW Splash Screen problem ?
I am running SW BMW V6 (V26 OS) on the Nav system. Can anyone please advise when the BMW splash screen is supposed to be displayed on the Nav monitor. I thought it was supposed to be displayed when you unlock the vehicle and open the door. I have a funny feeling that mine is not operating properly. When I unlock the door and then open the door the monitor brightens up but only with a blank screen (No Logo). I get the =BMW= logo very occasionally. Does anyone have a similar problem? Are there any options on how to configure the system on when to display the nav splash screen? Looking forward to any help/advice that you guys can give. PS Great forum

The splash screen generally comes on when the i-bus has been in a quiescent state and is awakened via an i-bus triggering activity, such as unlocking the vehicle or opening a door.
