What year and model car do you have and what version of the Nav OS were you previously running?

Ok, that's good news. How did you burn your v27 CD? What speed, which program, what kind of CD? Which specific version did you download?

Hmmm, so which pic are you expecting as the splash screen? The one in the first post from UCrewX5?

I'll let UCrew know about your problems. He created that version, I'll find out if there might be a problem with it or maybe it's been changed since he created it.

Hmmm, I'm not sure why it wouldn't have worked for you (assuming, of course, that you have a MkIV and not a MkIII). It worked fine for me (that's a picture of my nav screen with the logo on it), and I am aware of several others that used this same download and have that splash screen working just fine.

You have a couple options here. One is to live with what you have and wait for V28 to come out. The other is to downgrade to an older version (such as V26) and then re-upgrade to V27 to see if that fixes it. Note that doing a downgrade can cause certain side effects, such as putting your system into yards instead of feet, losing the Accept screen, etc.
