A Couple of Questions

I have a 2001 4.4i, I have couple of questions because i currently have a Pioneer Double Din NAV in it, However!, I want the stock look, which it can not give me. I decided that I wanted the 16:9 in there. When i contacted BMW, they told me that the 16:9 can not be installed in my car. But i recently seen a thread of someone installing in in their 2001. So my questions....

1) Can I install that 16:9 screen/system in my car?

2) I see them on Ebay for cheap, but they are from Germany, Overseas. Can I get these systems to work with my North American (Canada) X5?

3) Who can install this for me?

2. Yes, the units from Germany are the same as the units in the U.S.

3. If you aren't a DIY'er, check out a competent high-end stereo installer. Show them the link above and see if they are up to the challenge. I'd plan on spending at least a grand on labor, and perhaps double or triple.
