Make sure you have incremented the Nav OS version number to eg at lease 4-1/92 otherwise the Nav notes that the version is the same as that loaded, and won't update the software.

The nav only updates the software if the new version is different to the existing version

NavTweak is an excellent software!!!!
How about a picture of your successfull change of the white route?
Which new colour did you choose, to have a better view to the route while driving through unwooded area?

My propose for modifying is (after a lot of tests):
At first only changing the color of 'Default map area' to 21 21 15.
This is a little bit darker than the original 24 24 24 and you will have enough contrast to see the white planned route very good.
Everybody must find his own preference for area and route.

Does anyone know how to successfuly widen the "roads" on the map using NavTweak, so that they appear more "thick" in presentation?

Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to make a lean cd to upload a new OS?
Like not including the langMk2, langMk3, Mk2C, Mk2M, Mk3, Momochrome (and so on) directories if you have an MK4 nav computer.

Compass rose in perspective background...

Hi all,
I thought its time to get involved in this very good stuff here!

Is it correct that the perspective background image is rotating, always oriented to one specific direction (i.e. center of file north-pointing)?

Then something like this should work, right? I'm going to test this tomorrow...

German test-version so far only...

Yes, it was done quite a lot with the V26 software which was tweeked to support Perspective mode.

@RichardP1, thanks, would say the less data you have to burn on the cd the less chance of mistakes.

@rokit, that background image looks really cool!
Does it work?

I'm trying to install NavTweak on a machine running Win98SE.
Starting the program gives athe error cannot find a required DLL file, LIBGDK-WIN32-2.0-0.DLL
Downloaded this file, put it in the same folder as NavTweak.
Now it's complaining it cannot find LIBGDK_PIXBUF-2.0-0.DLL
How many DLL's are needed to get this program running?
Yepp, I'm an Apple user...
