TV Help please
whats the easiest way to install a reverse camera to this car (besides factory setup)? Whats the best way to remove the lock on the TV display whilst moving? I have seen a lead which enables me to do the above but i find it hard to believe the cost of just a couple of wires. Is there any easier and cheaper way???? thanks in advance |

I have a couple of the Dietz 1270 adapters. They have a little box with chips inside that alter the I-bus signal to keep the TV on. I can send you a picture of the inside if you want.

We offer the Dietz kits as well on the site, the 1260 is the correct kit for the X5.
Dietz Video Multimedia Interface - 1260 http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=341 However the VSM would probably be a better kit for the camera, we it will provide automatic switching of the camera as the X5 is put into reverse. Video Source Module (VSM) for BMW - Core System http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...roducts_id=161 We have pictures of the camera mounted into the taillight in this thread: http://www.xoutpost.com/vendor-forum/...reen-more.html Feel free to contact me with any specific questions you might have.
