TV Help please

I have a 2006 X5 3d with OEM screen, TV, & Sat Nav.

whats the easiest way to install a reverse camera to this car (besides factory setup)?
Whats the best way to remove the lock on the TV display whilst moving?

I have seen a lead which enables me to do the above but i find it hard to believe the cost of just a couple of wires.

Is there any easier and cheaper way????

thanks in advance

I have a couple of the Dietz 1270 adapters. They have a little box with chips inside that alter the I-bus signal to keep the TV on. I can send you a picture of the inside if you want.

We offer the Dietz kits as well on the site, the 1260 is the correct kit for the X5.

However the VSM would probably be a better kit for the camera, we it will provide automatic switching of the camera as the X5 is put into reverse.

We have pictures of the camera mounted into the taillight in this thread: http://www.xoutpost.com/vendor-forum/...reen-more.html

Feel free to contact me with any specific questions you might have.
