Navi and Euro Mode
Wondering if anyone else is in the same boat I am in. I have read a few posts about the Euro Mode revert when you start playing around with the software versions (going back and forth). I just finished a retrofit a few weeks ago and upgraded to 27.1 with no problems. I noticed that the system never displayed the warning screen and that my distances are shown to me in miles and yards. This leads me to believe that my system is in Euro and not US mode. The one thing it does not do is that my MPG seems to still be showing US vs IMP gallons (only say this because I don't seem to have much of a difference between what the OBC says and what I compute when I fill up).
I am wondering if the complete revert did not happen because the Navi was not in my car when it was reset to Euro. If this is true, it seems like a neat way to get rid of the warning screen while not getting errors on the MPG side. Has anyone else noticed this too? |

What you have is "normal" Euro mode. Either the previous owner and kicked the nav computer into Euro mode, or you did it with the 27.1 upgrade. Even in Euro mode, it will show MGP based on US gallons versus IMP gallons.
