After disconnecting and reconnecting batteries, NAV asks for 4 digits code, why?
This weekend i needed to disconnect the battery by the negative terminal. Reconnecting it after waiting ~10 mins and turning the ignition key to 1 the NAV computer asked me to enter in the engine demobolizer 4 digits code. Huh? Why? And at the same time it started to count down from 10 mins to 0. Silly question but, is there a default 4 digits code? Has anyone run into this situation? If so then do you have no choice but to wait out the full 10 mins to deactivate the code? Thanks much! |

Try 0000 (four zero's) it worked for me following a software update on my Mk4.
I think you can then choose not to active pin code. Never had it sinceRegards, Andy. |
