After disconnecting and reconnecting batteries, NAV asks for 4 digits code, why?

Howdy,

This weekend i needed to disconnect the battery by the negative terminal.

Reconnecting it after waiting ~10 mins and turning the ignition key to 1 the NAV computer asked me to enter in the engine demobolizer 4 digits code.

Huh?

Why?

And at the same time it started to count down from 10 mins to 0.

Silly question but, is there a default 4 digits code?

Has anyone run into this situation?

If so then do you have no choice but to wait out the full 10 mins to deactivate the code?

Try 0000 (four zero's) it worked for me following a software update on my Mk4. I think you can then choose not to active pin code. Never had it since
