2006-2 DVD with UK speed camera locations included

I have just uploaded the 2006-2 High disk including UK speed cameras to [LINK REMOVED - NOT COMPLIANT WITH FORUM GUIDELINES].

It has been split up into 28 files on Rapishare.
The DVD contains all UK fixed and mobile camera sites using the latest database from GPS world.

These files have now been deleted by Rapidshare following complaints!!! 22/09/2006

Thats great -

Could I be abit naive and ask what other bits of kit will i need to succesfully burn this to a DVD?

Will i need a DVD-R or DVD+R
Can i use DVD-RW?

Also what burning software to you reccomend? I have Nero but i am assuming that this will not be sufficient?

I have MKIV DVD

Thanks in advance

I use a good quality DVD-R, burned as slow as possible. Also, I used DVD Decrypter to burn it. I don't know about a DVD-RW.

I have now also added the Word document which details exactly how to do this, including links to required software etc.

Thanks Chris

I will give it a go tonight. The Speed Camera Database will hopefully make us all safer drivers

The next thing BMW NAV needs is audible sounds when POI's are near by. Then it will be as good as my TOMTOM which i use in my other cars.

Will keep you posted on how i get on.

Follow the same link.
Forgive my lack of understanding in these matters Chris but...

I,ve subscribed to Rapidshare and Pocket GPS World and downloaded your (28) 2006-2 files but I'm having trouble uderstanding your instruction document!

1. Do the 2006-2 files include the latest camera locations or do I have to get these from PGW as per your instructions?

2. If included, do I have to convert them to an ISO image before I can burn them onto a DVD or is the file extension .rar that of an ISO image?

3. Under 2 of your instructions) I have downloaded the latest 'pocketgps_europe.asc' zip file from Pocket GPS World. Where should I extract it too?

4. Under 3 b) I'm unable to access the ASCI to IDX/URL Mk4 convertor.

5. Could you please expand on 4) & 5), I'm not sure if I understand these.

6. Lastly, how do you keep the camera information up to date? Do you have to go through this procedure each time there are updates or is there a quick fix?

Thx for your patience
