Need advice with navi upgrade

Hi to all members.
Got a question if there is anyone experienced this.
My 2001 330 came originaly with 4:3 screen and mk2 navi computer. Decided to upgrade to 16:9 screen. All went smooth, but when I tested it the picture came up in the middle of the new screen as 4:3. Sometimes on start the menu is stretched to 16:9 and when I turn the TV on it goes back to 4:3. By the time of the exchange I forgot to unplug the battery, so the system wasn't restarted.
Any cure? I'm still with my mk2 cause I have tv in motion without any additional devices and no plans for upgrade to the better mk3.
Any help is appreciated.

It is your TV module that is not fully compatible with the 16:9 display.

Try the battery disconnect all over again. Then, if that does not work, try removing the TV module from the car and see if that fixes things. You may just need to buy a newer TV module that is compatible with the 16:9 display.
