Do you have DSP or the standard system? Is the nav a retrofit or was it factory?

This may be a system problem. I have my nav volume set pretty low on the SETTINGS menu, and it is still pretty loud. If I turn mine up, it is louder than the radio and blows me out of the car.

this seems to be a problem which comes together with earlier revisions of radio moduls. try to set your TP volume higher in the hidden menu of your radio settings...

I have a "too loud" problem as well--there is a thread and a technical article about adjusting "absolute" volume. I can't search for it now, but I tried the steps to adjust AV and was not successful. Try searching <nav volume> here. G/L

Nav Volume

hI
YES I DO HAVE DSP AND IT IS A FACTORY FIT SAT NAV IF THIS HELPS, I HAD SET THE TP TO MAX I THINK THIS IS +9, IT IS A 2002-03 SO I WOULD THINK IT HAS THE OLDER RADIO MODULE IN IT.

REGARDS
TONY
