WARNING: Reverting to Custom v27 from v28 will Freeze Nav System!!!

WARNING: Reverting to Custom v27 from v28 will Freeze Nav System!!!

I've loaded v28 from a custom v27 with no issues...

Problem:
Created a custom v28 with a new splash screen with success and in order to load it I had to downgrade to a lower version. I reverted back to a custom v27 and the Nav system just froze and CD got stuck!

How to fix it (steps):
***************
Stuck CD - moved the drive from side-to-side(shake) and successfully ejected the CD after pressing the eject button.

Reloaded v28 to stabilize the system and was back to a working v28 Nav system.

Downgraded to a known and official v26 Nav OS.

Then Upgraded to custom v28 Nav OS with success.
***************

No idea why the system freezes when reverting back to custom v27 from v28.

So if you plan on loading a custom v28, do it while you're still at a lower version to avoid the steps of needing to downgrade...

Hope this helps.
