2004 X3 Nav OS - Should I update?
I just got a 2004 X3 yesterday and I am wondering should I update my Nav OS. I believe this is the version - SW 4-1/20 but I am not really sure. Perhaps that is some kind of page number. My DVD has this number on it - 2003-2. I assume that is a version and is would be rather old. Thanks for any help/tips you could provide a Newbie!

Oh, is there a way to disable the Nav "accept" message each time we turn on the car?
Edit: Never mind I see that v27 allows the message go away after 8 seconds or something.

Okay, found a lot of information FAQs section and reading the OS v28 thread. Hopefully my unit will not default to Euro!
So, I have V28 burnt to a CD-R disk and I am wondering if my older map DVD will still work? Once again it's 2003-2. Or must I have a newer version of the Map DVD [say the current version 2007-1]

Well, I just could not wait anymore! I loaded the new firmware, v28 and all went as it should!
Yeepie! Oh, to answer my own question - Yes you should update.
