australia nav cd v13 or later mkIII ...where to buy?

where is the best place to buy cd updates for the mkIII nav computer for my x5? i went to melbourne bmw and the service guy said its around $400!
there must be somewhere cheaper ......any info would be great!
looked on ebay ...nothing.

I dont know who makes the maps for australia, but there is a suplier, for europe it is navteq.
PS. You can use any VDO, Carin based cd map

No, only VDO-Siemens and Philips CarIn compatible systems.
I think Opel or whatever you cal it over there uses same map type

I have a Mk3 FS from my M5 (2002 E39) after Mk4 upgrade, comes with V13 map disk.
