Question about text strings in navboot

Why are there both upper and lower case versions of a lot of text strings within a particular language? Are there versions/codings of the nav or display that can only display upper case?

When I'm searching for points of interest, I only get the upper case version of the strings. I can change these to lower case with navtweak, but why doesn't it just use the lower case versions that are already there?

Nevermind - found the answer to this one too. The all uppercase strings are used sa the "header" line on the nav.
