I've read through many mails on this subect but......
I've bought a link lead from Ebay to keep my Tv playing whilst in motion (kiddie wish) and I cannot find the module which it is connected to? I've been told its in the boot can anybody shed light on this?

I need to establish first if you have the TV? If you do then you need to located the TV module which is under the spare wheel. Disconnect the battery. Then unplug the blue factory harness plug from the TV tuner, and install it into the female plug on your NEW "TV IN MOTION CABLE" Then plug the other end of the "TV IN MOTION CABLE" back into the slot where you removed the blue male plug from the TV tuner. Then reconnect the battery. Done!

This is what the TV Module looks like. But its mounted different on the X.

Sudesh,

thanks for the info, I do have TV when the hand brake goes on (5 channels) in the middle of my spare wheel once removed is a black dome thing which is secured by four bolts and inside this is some sort of motor. and below it is the cars battery. the photos your showing is that of the area under the cd changer and satnav disc reader which lies to the left rear corner of the boot as you look at it?

The pic I attached is from a different BMW. Its just to show you what the TV module is like not where its installed on the X. You dont open the dome!! You have to unbolt the dome from floor (4 BOLTS) move the dome to one side to reveal the battery and the TV module etc

Yeah! You dont have to take it out completely, Just unbolt it and push to one side as there are wires attached to it!!
