What is this POI
Does anyone know what this POI is?

It is a grey circle with a dot in the middle. I can not work out what it is and would be grateful if someone can assist me.

I had heard this, as well. However, in San Francisco, I get this icon in at least two different locations. The first is near the intersection of Bush and Presidio and the second is near the intersection of Geary and Park Presidio.

It's 'abstract' city centre, not geographical. Used to speedup routeplanning.

i see them all over the place, in neighborhoods, randomly all over the place. is there any way to get rid of them?
