I'm glad you have taken this issue on board. I find it incredulous that you & the other moderators are so hypocritical (Like George Bush I suppose - it must be the American way - Ostriches with head in the sand....He will meet his nemesis today) to allow numerous threads & posts describing exactly where & how to download counterfeit copies of Navteq BMW Map Disks & counterfeit copies of Siemens VDO BV versions of BMW OS's!

You then have the cheek to threaten me.

I have tried to help people on this forum who have software problems to the best of my ability but I now think that I am being s**t upon. I don't particularly care that the moderators will immediately ban me now for my anti-American sentiments . I would quite happily continue to help with software problems but I will not put up with these comments without defending myself from personal attacks. Therefore you don't need to ban me as I shall not post here again, nor try to help out.

Yeee Haaa, lets go out in our armoured HumVees & shoot a few more Iraqi women & children - for we US troops are above the law & George Bush & Donald Rumsfeld will protect us all - Diplomatic Immunity............ It's called a "Turkey Shoot".

I have no issues with trying to help out. I have issues with the blatant sale of the software.
I'm not going to immediately ban you as you think we will for 2 reasons: 1) Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, they're like a$$holes, everyone has one.
2) You stated that you're not going to post anymore, so why bother?

I apologize if you feel singled out, we do try our best to stay on top of the issue. If you come across a thread that has the stated offenses, please report the post via the icon in the upper right corner of the triangle with the exclamation point. We can then address the issue.
The comment about the personal attacks goes for everyone, not just you. I wasn't stating that you can't defend yourself, I said that it shouldn't be happening in the first place.
Your thoughts on America and our government has nothing to do with BMW software. It does nothing more that make me chuckle as it shows your true mentality and knowledge on the subject.
Thank you.

Just completed the Greek Nov.2006 Radar's POI's on the 2007.1 High DVD.
Works perfectly
The ENG.LSC is a bit tricky to edit, but its quite easy after that.

The download from <no links to download software allowed-ekaz> works perfectly (november 2006) and contains all Western Europe in high resolution, version "2007-1". Following download (4GB!) the file unzips using WinRAR to a socalled "image"-file which is then burned using appropriate software (f.x. ImgBurn) to a blank recordable DVD media. The media operates with the Mark IV system used in f.x. X5 or E46 (3'er) series.

Does anyone understand this statement? How is the law and content of the DVD relevant? They maybe unique, but their sale in not original form is still against the law

Odia.

Pricing

One difficult subject is copyright and copyright violation. NAVTEQ's pricing policy (approx. EURO 300 per. semi-annual update for Europa) is clearly unacceptable. It goes without saying that such overpricing is forcing DVD-copies (socalled images) to be cast around the internet - often using "torrents" (a file sharing and peer-to-peer distribution technique).

We all know that the pricing isn't what we think it should be and that there are ways to get this without purchasing. However, with that being said, this forum does not allow links to download pirated copies of the software.

Torrent files

Hi, can anyone help me. I have just spent 4 days downloading the torrent files (92 of them). The first 29 came in as a .rar file, but the remainder of them came in as .r31, .r32, .r33 etc and are I assume more ziped or RAR files. How can I get all these files to be the same, or do they have to be the same. What do I do from here to get all these into a file that will contain the maps for the navigation system? Thanks any help is greatfully received.
