Bad detail on original MAP DVD/CD-ROM

I whrite my idea:
I donīt know if it is possible, Use some data from other company (tomtom, garmin) and modify or convert for MKxx. Because tomtom or garmin in my continental(Europe) have better detailed maps. Navteq and teleatlas is unusable.
What do you think about it,, Idea???

Garmin is using Navteq´s maps and they are junk. I have some roads in my village that have exist for about 10 years and they are still not on the 2007 years map disk. Its very sad that BMW is using them to.

Well It´s only Navteq and Teleatlas who is making maps for BMW . Maybe Kiwijochen can find out something with his contact that made his own Mkxx map data.

Navteq is very responsive, if you notify them of a missing road or an error. If you have something that needs fixing, go to the www.navteq.com web site and enter the request. Navteq and corrected 100% of the errors that I have submitted.
