16:9 and 4:3 Nav Screens Any Good points on the 4:3 over the 16:9

Are there any good points on the 4:3 nav system that the 16:9 nav system dosnt have? Like i noticed that the 4:3 nav screen has a think layer of shiny plastic on it which makes the screen look quite brighter and more well...... shiny. But i have noticed on older x5's with the 4:3 the screens get like permanent finger print marks on the screen and scratches as well.
