MK III vs Garmin C330

I got my Dad a Garmin C330 for Christmas and I must say I was quite impressed with it. The unit comes preloaded with about 5 million POI for the US. It had everything - Blockbuster, Starbucks etc. My latest set of CD's barely has even restuarants loaded in Atlanta, let alone things like Starbucks. Is it just the MK III that is so lacking in comparison when it comes to POI or is the MK IV the same?

Also, does anyone know if this new POI Editor is going to work with the MK III?
