BMW Nav vs. Garmin

I have both the factory Nav and a Garmin 3600a in my vehicle. The Garmin is defiantly a lot more user friendly and it seems to have more POI then BMW Nav system. I often find myself looking up the POI in the Garmin and inserting the address in the BMW Nav because often times the BMW POI list is missing many popular sites. If I didn’t already have the factory Nav system I would defiantly not be in a hurry to retrofit it. Garmin makes a great product and I would recommend them to anyone searching for a nav system. Look up “BMW X5 KUDA” on eBay they have an excellent mount for a small GPS.
