Help!!!!!!

I just tried to update my Mk III system and I waited 15 mins. and the progress bar was all the way across, It never said to insert the map cd and ir WILL NOT eject the update cd. I turned the car off and it still has the progress screen and won't eject the cd. What do I do???????

I read inanother thread that a guy removed the Cd by thr "cog method"
What is that?

Also I let the car sit for a while and got the install screen and tried to eject it to no avail.

Here's the 'official' way to eject according to BMW:

For a CD that will not eject from the Navigation computer follow the procedure below:
1. Remove the Navigation computer.
2. Unplug the voltage supply (blue connector).
3. Reconnect the voltage supply and immediately press the eject button repeatedly until the CD in the drive is ejected.
4. Insert a new Navigation CD and restart the installation process.

I tried it at least 15 times to no avail,
any other ideas?

I am going to try the first 2 methods afew more times before I attempt to tear it apart.
