How are your Speed Camera info and other POIs selected
DESTIMATION INPUT __INFORMATION ____GENERAL DESTINATIONS ____TRAVEL INFORMATION General Destinations accesses the POI data held within the carindb file Travel Information accesses the POI data held within the TPD directory Before I created a TPD directory, "Travel Information" was disabled (greyed out) and couldn't be selected Do the UK and USA maps function the same? What can you select under General Destinations? What different Info is stored in General Destinations vs Travel Information? Ta, J |

My system (Mk-IV) behaves just like you describe: "Travel information" disabled if inserting CD (Spain and Portugal) with only carindb file, and enabled if inserting DVD (Western Europe) with TPD full blown directory. About what different info I just can´t tell straight away. I shall have to investigate in some detail.

Are you saying that you have been able to create a disc that contains Speed Camera Info despite your disc's structure containing carindb? I was under the impression this was not possible. I'm in Australia and all our POI are stored in the Carindb file and not separately like with our European friends. When I asked on these forums about adding Speed Camera POI to our disc structure I was told it was not possible. |

Only the Mk4 can access the TPD directory I made a TPD directory and all the associated files from scratch, it works. Send me a PM, I'll tell you how |
