TV tuner.....how can i tell if its digital or not

Just cuious how can i tell if the tuner is digital, there are plenty on ebay however they are not sure if they are analog or digital or hybrid...the list is not that specific as i seem to see more with different part numbers than on the list

Simple - it's not.

There's no OEM solutions for Digital TV, but we have a package coming soon for the e53 & e70

Not sure what you are referring to. It might be easier to ask for links to what you are looking at, we'll be able to tell you right away.

More than likely - no one is offering digital TV at the moment for vehicle.

Thanks for the link - will be looking into these as well and offering another option. Are you aware if the bumper antennas were changed also?

BMW may not offer a digital tuner in the USA but they do in other markets. Tom, I doubt the antennas would need to change. Reason is that in Australia 'most' people have converted to Digital TV in there homes via a Set Top Box and they just the same aerials we have been using for decades (on the roofs of our houses). They said in Australia Digital TV is transmitted on the same bands as Analouge.
