What is the part number of the video module you installed? Some of the earlier video modules only support a 4:3 display. The later video modules have a selection to set whether you have a 4:3 or 16:9 display.

That is a very early, MKII era video module. It does not support the 16:9 view. I do not know of anyone who has found a way to modify an older video module to support 16:9. It is worth asking the German guy, but I would not be optimistic that he will have a fix.

Can be done, there are German companies that will re-program the EEPROM for about 100 Euros to enable 16:9.

The difference is in the EEPROM code loading in the video module.

Open the lid to see the EEPROM type. I don't know what it is.

But I think the EEPROM is a SMD and cannot be removed.

You must load the software over the ibus serial interface, use something like PAsoft to load the new code.

The new code you can get by codying it from another video module that is already 16:9

All of this is what i believe the shop in Germany does. I've never done it myself!

Thanks for all.

I thing the best way, it's to find some dealer to reprogram the videomodul, (if it's possible).
