Upgrading of sw 2.1/30

I have a 2001 740i with the version on the setup menu reading SW 2.1.30 this is apparently a Mk2 from what I read is there a benefit to uprgade, what are the differences and if so is Version 29 the newest and is it do-able with ease.

I have read almost all the threads but not much in the way of MK2 systems.

Thank you

Any nav disk V21 or higher will take your nav drive to release level 2-1/81. See http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all-...ystem-faq.html for more info. I don't think you'll get much more in terms of features on a MkII.
