Help getting into secret or hidden menu to set absolute nav volume

Ok, I need help.

I have read and tried every trick on this site to get into the menu. Over an hour of pressing "select" after turning the key on has not gotten me in. Arghhh.

Here is what happens:

1. Turn to Pos1.
2. Turn radio off
3. Take key out
4. Turn key to pos2
5. turn radio on
6. hit select

Now instead of some menu, all that happens is the RDS radio display says "PRES ON" or if i try to hold it again it says "PRES OFF" - I am lost!

Any help? I am off to on a long road trip and the NAV volume is killing me!

Thanks
Brad

I think that I just got in using the "INFO" "RDS" "NAV confirm button" trick.
