You only get partial street names or major roads in perspective mode because the mk4 has limited cpu for video rendering and 3d mode kicks the crap out of the processor, so you can only have full names in flat view or limited in perspective, thats it.
You can have pretty or full names, not both. They may come out with update to the firmware but don't hold your breath.
