Complete installation retrofit done ! But ...

Hi everyone,
Just done a huge upgrade on my '03 X5, I've installed the full option wiring loom including TV, DSP, Phone, Nav... Just great !
During the work I've found many reservation just like the rear seat heating wiring loom ! Nice.
Need to finish lot of things but I've noticed that in the monitor I've everything, but not the auxiliary heating (otherwise it works fine), any clue ?

Auxilliary heating must be physically fitted to your car - it is a separate fuel-burning heater.

You may get Auxilliary Ventilation appearing on the menu, but Aux. Heating won't appear with the heater being fittted.

Thanks for your answer, but I don't understand the end of your sentence ? I already have the aux heating fitted in the car, so what must be done to have access to it on the nav menu ?
(I must send to you my code and the money, I just looovvee your soft !!!)

Sorry, I wrote 'with' when I meant to write 'without'

OK, you need to do 2 things:

1. Disconnect vehicle battery, wait 10min, then reconnect. This will re-boot everything in the car, and sometimes will help force the nav to detect all fitted equipment.

2. If that doesn't work, you may need to get the car coded by BMW to activate/ reactivate the Aux Heating, and so that the car is coded for navigation. This is most likely the issue.

Cheers, Jochen
