SMSC is the SMS Message Centre of your phone network. You must have a telephone fitted to the car for this to work, and the phone must be a GSM phone. Ask your phone company what their SMS Message Centre number is.

This number is for use with the BMW Assist function, so you need to subscribe to BMW Assist as well. Ring BMW to check on their current subscription fees in your country.
