It's un-Acceptable!

After messing with my old Mk2 1/30 for a while trying to upgrade the OS, I finally succeeded in getting it to 1/81. But now I have that %$#@! Accept screen to deal with. In my original 1/30 version I only had to Accept when launching Nav, but now with 1/81 I have to Accept to do anything with the console/computer/nav/dsp at it is displayed when the engine is started. This is on my 2000 X5 4.4.

I've not seen any notes on eliminating this wonderful new feature on a Mk2 system. Does anyone out there know the key that unlocks this? Do I have to downgrade/upgrade, even tho' I came from a downrev version? If so, which versions are the best bet for success?

Yes, I have the key.

The key is NavCoder. Change the region setting to Europe, and the Accept screen will disappear. 'Accept' appears when Region=Australia, or Region=USA.
'Accept' was never required for European cars, and so the ability to show the 'Accept' screen was tied into the region setting of the nav.

Navcoder makes is very easy to change just this one setting, without impacting on any other coding of the nav computer.

At the same time, you can decide if the language loaded is the one you like, or you can load another language (choose from USA, GB, DE, FR, IT, or SP)

Regards, Jochen
