grantsmithbmw540 is on a distinguished road
please help i have lost splitscreen and nav-min option

Hi Guys.

i have lost the full capability of the split screen. the split screen usually works with the main menu (ie menu on left and gps co-ordinates on the right) but to have full split screen option you need the flat pin bm53/54 and then it will work with the radio (so you can see saved radio stations 1-6 on the left and the gps on the right)

but i am not getting this now.. jsut full screen radio presets 1-6

I will explain everything i have done from the start.. its a 1998 e39 originally with 4:3 screen MK2 nav and tv tuner.
upgraded the screen nav and tv tuner to 16:9, mk4 and dual output tv tuner. i then lost the select and info keys which my bmw dealer coded and this was fixed.

I then upgraded the dsp amp to a lowe amp and i got a flat pin bm54 radio modual (the one i took out was a round pin bm54) and also the cd changer to one which supports audio text.

I only noticed over the last few weeks that i lost the nav-min settings and today about loosing full split screen .

I think maybe when i 1st got navcoder and russlers interface and connected it all.. maybe i lost then settings then... i just cant get them back.

tried downgrading to v23 and back to v29 tried navcoder selecting mk4,ece (europe), e39 saloon, my vin, bm54 split screen, show arrival time etc etc

please please some advise or ideas what i can do..
i am getting that desperate for help i may even offer a reward for the correct advise that solves the issue..
