Temporarily reconnedt your MID to your car. Then the countdown will work. You need to get your car coded for nav so that the OBC coundown will work properly in the future. Here is someone who just had the identical problem in an E38.

As the previous post said, reconnect your MID, then your countdown will start. Of course, charge your battery first! After the car is re-activated, drive to BMW and get them to do the Navigation Retrofit Coding. This tells the instrument cluster that the nav is fitted (instead of a MID), and the car will then correctly communicated with the nav. Then everything will work fine. |

You're welcome.
On another note, consider using lower case when you write your messages (capitalize first letters of sentences, etc.). All capital letters is the Internet equivalent of YELLING. You will probably get more responses that way.
