Cool Brand New 2008 BMW Australia GPS Maps?
I have the 2006 version in my X5 of Australia and its not showing where i live as the street was just made. Does anybody know where i van get V13 (I think) of the GPS maps? The last maps where a copy from my mate but he never uses his GPS so hes not going to buy the new copy

Yeah I've been looking for these too but I suspect they are not yet available from BMW.

It took several months for BMW to release the 2007 maps last year despite Sensis releasing them in the later part of 2006.

If I recall the 2007 maps eventually made it out of BMW in the first couple of months of 2007 so I'd be guessing the 2008 will be the same.

Check out the BMW Australia website (go to sitemap and then sat nav) and they state V13 is the latest and link to a Sensis page which shows V14

Arrow maps don't work
hi all,

i don't know what i'm doing wrong but i've copied an original v14 (australia) map on a DVD and when i insert this into my e46 with v29.1 loaded, it says that i have an incorrect disc?

can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong and how i can get the disc to work?

I had the same problem (MK IV e46) and ended up using a RED V14 map disk. Seems in Australia there are three coloured disks and only the RED one seems to work in a MK IV.

also, does it matter how the disc is burnt ie. dual layer or single layer?

The RED disk is a CD and not a DVD.

Can someone please tell me if ver 14 is the latest red disk available - I have updated my firmware to v32 using info and data from another site. e46fanatics dot com
Would really like to get my hands on the latest ozzie map version in iso format.
I only have ver 10 and it only covers about 50% of the country compared to navman

Version 14 is the latest red disk. Quite a few have popped up for sale on Ebay of late.
