2007.2 NAV MAP users..! help please..!

So, i have an 03 X5, DVD MKIV, with updated V30 software, and a friend is offering me the 2007.2 NAV DVD MAP (part 65 90 0 426 555), however, the dealer is telling me that MAP does NOT work in BMW SUVs, only SEDANs..!!

Dealer said part 65 90 0 426 554 is the MAP for SUV. Cant imagine that is right, any input..? Can one of you guys with SUVs check on the part number for your DVD MAP..? or any input is appreciated.

When you open that page you see that BMW has NAV MAPS for several types of BMW's.
That leads me to believe that each of them are unique to the specific vehicle and hardware. But to make sure why not give their site a look see.

Mine is 65 90 0 415 621, no problem at all.

I am 100% shure that any map for any of the BMW with MK IV can be used, could have dealer ment that it works with new 5 2004- and 3 2006- series sedan ? bouth of those have Profesional nav with i-drive and maps are not compatible

There are 2 different Nav DVD's. One works with the idrive BMW's and the other for older systems (like on the E53 X5's). As long as your friends DVD came from a non-idrive car then you should be fine.
